The location is right in the "old city" of Montreal. Room is cozy and suitable, for those that spend most of there time outside. I found that the bathroom and room was clean, surpass my expectations. Another plus, was the spanish cuisine restuarant just on the main level. Very good food and romantic for couples. Also, parking is easily accessable and reasonably priced compared to other major brand hotels in the area.
The room is very simple and slightly back dated. But, if you spend most of your time outside, not really a major downfall. Rooms toward the front of the building are not really sleeper friendly, the noise from outside flow into the room like there are no windows. For me, not a problem, because I like the city noise.

The room was clean and relatively big and the staff was very friendly.
Synthetic bed linen; rather old and noisy air conditioning, installed very provisionally in the bottom part of the window (with the gaps covered by some plastic) - I couldn't actually get any air in as the window wasn't meant to be opened and the air conditioning was too noisy to use, but I could hear every little noise from the street.

Its small but cosy Mexicano style hotel in the old quarter of Montreal without elevator you've to pull up your luggage however the female manager is really nice and kind to provide any info you wish to know. I enjoyed my stay and if I have a chance I'll ,for sure to stay there again to try the food with the resturant downstair .

location, location, location This is a bare bones-no frills hotel/rooming house. At the price we paid($83) for two with continental breakfast in the heart of old Montreal it was a great bargain. Clean room and bathroom with comfortable bed.

Lacation
Booking was not found upon arrival. Heater did not work in room (2 beds). After complaining got another room (1 bed only). Note I requested / booked two beds. No breakfast on Sunday while this was included in the booking and roomrate.

It was great value for money right in the heart of the Old City. It's not spotlessly clean but acceptable and the staff were friendly and amenable. Breakfast in the restaurant was a good start to the day. Our room had a huge comfortable bed, which was such a treat at the end of a day's walking.

The location is excellent and it was very quiet.
The lack of an elevator. It was very difficult to reach our room on the second floor with heavy bags. The lack of carpet which means you can hear every move of people in the room above and in the corridors.

Nothing... Way too expansive for what you got. Doesn't worth the money it cost... I almost haven't seen staff during my stay.

Location was excellent! Very central in old Montreal.
No elevator! Hard to walk up 5 flights of stairs with luggage or without.!

We liked the location. Very close to old Montreal and that is the area we came to visit. The staff were very helpful and made our stay very plesant.
The air conditioner was very noisy, it would have been better if it did not make so much noise all night.

The hotel is in a great location, just next to Notre Dame. The closest metro station is less than 5 minutes on foot, and if you like to walk you can basically reach all the most interesting neighborhoods of Montreal in less than half an hour. The room was large, and I also had a private bathroom - when I booked, I had accepted to have a shared bathroom on the floor. The staff were always available and helpful. The annex Mexican restaurant serves nice food and very nice Margarita. During the weekend there is a Mariachi band playing at night. They are really very good. I do not like that kind of music but these ones know their game :)
I have been there for 10 days and my bedroom and bathroom have never been cleaned (or, if they have, I have not noticed...) I guess, though, that if I had asked for it they would have sent someone, as the staff were always very responsive. I was unlucky because my stay partially overlapped with the F1 Grand Prix, meaning that lodging prices skyrocketed for 3 or 4 nights. The rooms are quite shabby. With a private bathroom, the price on normal days is acceptable value for money, especially considering the (exaggerated) prices of Montreal. Without a private bathroom, I would say that it is a little bit too expensive.

The location was great - only steps from Notre Dame Basilica. The staff were helpful and very friendly. The rooms were small but clean and cozy, and although the decoration was sparse, it was nice.
There were no cards to have someone make up the room, and when we left in the morning, the office wasn't open. So, when we came back late at night, after a long days touristing, it was to an unmade room. Besides that, great for the money.

Location, friendly and helpful staff, clean room
Missing comfort items in room: No facial washcloths, no soap holders or place to put soap in shower besides the floor; no bath mat, so the tile floor was wet and slippery; no facial tissues, as most rooms have; I would have liked a shelf in bathroom on which to set my lotions, hair products and styling tools, etc. There was plenty of space to provide a shelf or table. Would have liked a remote control for the TV, if possible.
